Nowadays, we are all very familiarized with social networks. We have to look at Facebook, Twitter, whatsapp or Instagram every day and many people say that they can’t live without being informed about everything, that means, they can’t spend an entire day without revising social networks. To be informed of what is happening in the world is fine. Nevertheless, many times the news that reaches us through social networks can be false. So… What can we do?



On the one hand, social networks are really good because they allow us to communicate easily with people who are far away from us. Talking about WhatsApp, this is the most important messaging system in the world. WhatsApp is used in many countries. Nevertheless , WhatsApp is a private messaging system. Besides, the goal of Whatsapp is a private conversation between a few people but sometimes if someone writes some fake news it can be received by thousands of people, and there’s the problem.


On the other hand, creating fake news about someone famous is very dangerous because people may think it is true. In addition, the blame for the transmission of this fake news is not only with the person who invented it, but also with the messenger service that helps to transmit it, in this case, WhatsApp. However , to solve this, WhatsApp has taken a number of measures such as not being able to send the same message to more than 5 people at once. Besides , we all know that nowadays there are many fake news circulating on the network.


All in all, we must be careful with the news that we see because that may not be true. In my opinion, WhatsApp is very good but sometimes we must think about the news and links that people send us through this social network.
