Composition 07

A boot camp is a place where many teenagers are sent to try to solve their personal problems and change the way they behave. In these camps, which are run by former soldiers, young people learn military discipline, outdoor survival skills and teamwork. Personally, i think a boot camp is not a good idea because sometimes, this kind of discipline and activities aren't what teenagers need, there are other ways of managing their problems rather than sending them to a boot camp.

Firstly, some teenagers go to boot camps because they have decided it themselves. Nevertheless, other teenagers go to boot camps because their parents force them to go and therefore they don’t enjoy it. In addition, many parents who have "troubled" children or children with personal problems think that taking them to boot camps are the solution, but in the end it only makes them worse. If you want to take your child to a boot camp, you should ask him if he really wants to go there.

Besides, the activities they usually do there involve great physical ability. If you are not strong, you can end up having injuries, dizziness and vomiting, among other things. Moreover, many times people want to go home, but they can’t because they aren’t allowed to use mobile phones to call their parents.

As far as i am concerned, boot camps are not a good idea. From my point of view, boot camps are fine only if that person goes there because he or she likes it, in the meantime, it is clear that they are not useful for solving teenage behavior problems.
