Rabbit-Proof Fence

The story is about three Australian half-caste girls, Molly and her two cousins Daisy and Gracie.
The English men came to Australia and colonized the island and had all the mestizo girls go to schools to teach them how to be raised to work serving houses.

They are forcibly abducted and taken there.
Once there, they escape and many policemen went in search of them to return them to the settlement. They survived by eating what the farm people give them and sleeping in holes made by the rabbits. It was a really difficult trip because they were very small and very tired, scared and aching.

When they had walked a lot one of Molly's cousins decided to go on her own and find her mother all by herself.
After that, the two girls, after many hardships and always following the rabit proof fence arrived home in their indigenous village.

This story is based on real facts and is written by Molly's daughter.
